News and Announcements

On Saturday, May 9th the VDOMA is hosting a Community Road Clean Up Effort from 7 am to approximately noon (at the latest).    If you are able to participate, please bring PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) such as gloves, safety glasses, long sleeve shirts, long pants and close toed boots, because the cleanup includes trimming brush alongside the roads (VDO, NP and FF), and loading it into trailers that will head to the dump.  
 All participants will be required to sign a waiver of liability prior to the work start.  
Please note the following:
  1. We will clear overgrown brush from alongside VDO, NP and FF.
  2. We will be picking up debris and rocks from bar ditches as required.
  3. If you have equipment such as a truck and/or a trailer to take vegetation gathered during this effort to the dump that would be greatly appreciated.
  4. Should you have garbage bags for trash, brush cutters, hedge trimmers or chain saws please bring them with you.
  5. We will meet at the mailboxes at 7 am and then divide into teams to tackle the three roads.
